Silently Beats the Drum: (Book 1 of the Drum series) A story about the Civil War, the home front, and what a crippled war veteran finds when he returns home with two black runaways, Moses and Faye. (At the Printers now!)

Indian Dreamer (Book 2 of the Drum series) Jeb chooses to go west when his home life is not what he remembers nor what he wants. Moses and Fay, two black runaways, accompany him on his journey. (At the publishers now)

Green River (Book 3 of the Drum series) Years have pasted since Jeb first came west and the country is filling up with crooks, lawyers and bankers (and Jeb considers all of them crooks). Investigating a cow rustling situation, Jeb and Moses stumble onto some interesting findings. (At the publishers now)

In the Shadow of the Mountain Jed and Mule are trading whiskey to the Indians for beaver pews, when they are asked by the army to attempt to stop a war with the Sioux by returning some captives to them. Returning the captives creates some unusual problems for the two rough mountain men. (At the publishers now)
